Located in the medieval village of La Garde Freinet, Les Residences was originally a cork factory when that industry was so important in this part of Provence. The building has been converted into a small number of exclusive private apartments and combines its charm with all the modern needs for a relaxed holiday. The comfortably furnished apartment is ideal for a couple but can sleep up to 4, there is a fully fitted kitchen, a lounge area, double bedroom and a contemporary bathroom.

The studio for two is slightly smaller but has been recently refurbished and offers similar facilities with the added benefit of a private garden overlooking the swimming pool and gardens.

Outside there are large grounds with mature gardens in which to relax. A large swimming pool and tennis court is surrounded by lawns, a fruit orchard and a BBQ area. There is ample secure parking.

Les Residences is just a short walk from the centre of the village of La Garde Freinet which offers a number of restaurants catering to all budgets, a couple of bars, two bakers, butchers, two small supermarkets. There is a village market on Sundays and Wednesdays offering a wide range of fresh produce from the surrounding area.

The countryside around La Garde Freinet, Le Massif des Maures, is ideal for exploring the local area on foot or by bike or, just driving through the local villages. A short distance to the south are beautiful beaches and the glamour of St Tropez. Inland to the north the historic villages of Provence are dotted around the countryside and the fantastic Gorges du Verdon, Monaco and Italy are close enough to be visited on a day out.
